Bio  Name: Star / Eve Brea Age: 16 months (appears about 12) Series: Parasite Eve Species: Human Clone / Mitochondrial Being Residence: Residential zone - Section 2 Status: Alive Personality: Eve/Star can be a shy and timid creature who while remaining cautiously optimistic about new experiences tend to detrimentally curious. She is quite naïve, having a simpler view of the world around her and does not adapt to change very well. When things have changed drastically she becomes sulky or angry. When she feels at least semi confidant in her surroundings however, she likes to draw, be with animals, or try re arrange the room she’s in, into a different cubby fort.  History: Aya Brea had neo-mitochondria, and after an incident in New York scientists from an underground facility in the Mojave dessert, obtained her blood samples via M.I.ST laboratories. They wished to study the mitochondria’s effectiveness to steer human evolution. Unfortunately the test subject’s neo-mitochondria’s constantly evolved out of control and had to be exterminated. Authorizing the creation of Aya’s clone, to repress and control the subjects ‘evolution’ Bowman; the head researcher, designating Aya’s duplicate with the name ‘Eve’. Artificially grown, taking less than a year for ‘Eve’s body to mature into a pre adolescent stage of physical development, Bowman personally oversaw her basic education. From learning how to walk and talk to the knowledge of how to commit horrible atrocities, through even more horrible means. Eventually Dr Bowman became jaded with his achievements, becoming less and less mentally stable. Bowman’s isolation and constant proximity to the neo mitochondria coerced his consciousness to ‘realize’ his dream, his wish to become one with the neo-mitochondrial life force. Altering a subject he proudly called No. 9, who, with at least his intellect in tact was to continue his creator’s second mission; using Eve to release a giant mitochondrial virus filled pupa’s contents, Bowman finally let go of his humanity. In vain however his plans would not go quite as smoothly as hoped. Creating a barrier between her and anything she could not control, Eve took refuge in her ‘nursery.’ Aya meanwhile, following up on an assignment was intentionally led to the research facility, tricked into destroying any defenses Eve had. Although the mitochondrial pupa creature could not destroy Aya in time, it’s liquefied remains in a desperate attempt to keep itself ‘alive’ tried to physically bond with young Eve, an act which inevitably destroyed itself. After waking up in hospital two days later, Eve was then ‘adopted’ by her ‘older sister’: Aya, living at least for a week, in enjoyable peace – until she woke up in Edensphere with no memory of who or what she was… Abilities: Normal ‘Mitochondria’ are organelles found in cells of most biological organisms and are responsible for converting oxygen and nutrients into energy, which they do perfunctorily. Eve’s mitochondria however, a somewhat mutant variety, has become semi-sentient and able to dictate the amount of oxygen they convert into energy as well as the purpose for it. This means that when in danger Eve can become extraordinarily heated for short periods of time, and can protect herself from a variety of viruses/infections. She can also through unified cell direction, forget certain events (her Mitochondria’s way of keeping ‘the host’ mentally sound.) [Info / Media] |
